I left the paste on for about the same amount of time I left the henna in my hair -- 3-4 hours? And even if you treat your eyebrows like body art henna, leaving it on overnight, steaming it, not getting it wet for 24 hours -- it will still be orange for the first half a day, and since it's on your face, it won't ever get as dark a brown as you can get on the palm of your hands. It also didn't seem to dye the hair on my eyebrows at all. Anyway, I would suggest trying it at least once, but I've been sticking to filling in my brows with eyeshadow and a brush. :) The results weren’t that fabulous, actually.
